

The system will need to be repaired or replaced if these are not working properly. Nintendo does not have a recommended cleaning method. The vacuum should be on its lowest setting. Use a vacuum cleaner to remove any crumbs or light objects from inside the disc tray (caddy). Never use liquid of any type to clean the vents. Use some type of dusting tool, including a dusting attachment for a vacuum. Be sure not to get the cloth too wet, because liquid can drip down into the system. Spray a dry cloth with Windex or Simple Green then wipe the system down. There are different cleaning methods depending on which part of the console needs cleaning.
